Our Heritage
In 1906, amidst the hustle of ox wagons on Windhoek's dusty streets, W. Meyer laid the groundwork for what would flourish into Adrian & Meyer Jewellers.
Just two years on, the discovery of diamonds in Namibia heralded a new chapter, catapulting the store to the forefront of jewellery design and manufacturing in the nation.
Today, under the stewardship of Rolf Adrian, a master goldsmith and diamond grader, Adrian & Meyer remains a shining example of quality and innovation in the world of fine jewellery.
With his nearly three decades of passion and a team of skilled artisans, the company shines as a modern landmark in the jewellery industry, renowned for its exceptional quality, unique designs, and meticulous craftsmanship.
Our Leader
Raised in Namibia, I grew up immersed in the artistry of my father's workshop at Adrian Jewellers, where I earned an allowance through engraving. After school, I honed my craft through gold and silversmithing apprenticeships in Germany and returned with my talented wife and mother of my two wonderful children, Oda.
After a short stint in Cape Town and a few years of gaining experience at my father’s newly acquired Meyer Jewellers, I returned to Germany to complete a Goldsmith Master's Degree which allowed me to mentor young goldsmiths and establish formal training structures for jewellery manufacturing through the Jewellers Association of Namibia.
In 2001, the Adrian and Meyer stores were merged into Adrian & Meyer Jewellers, marking the beginning of a new chapter and allowing my parents to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.
For two decades now, I've poured my soul into every piece I create, drawing inspiration from Namibia's untamed spirit, natural beauty, and vibrant gemstones. Beyond the bench, you’ll find me birding, camping, mountain biking, or playing my Cello.
